Fascinating story. I remember learning about Mr. Gorske in the Super Size Me documentary. I think about his story every once in a while. It's amazing that he's just a run of the mill older guy. No health issues. He's not as morbidly obese as one would think after eating Big Macs every day since the 70s. I think I remember once reading or seeing in an interview that he buys them ahead of time and preserves or freezes them for days where he's expecting McDonald's to be closed for any reason (holidays / weather emergencies, etc). I'm sure that on some level, Mr. Gorske is somewhere on the spectrum. Many people who are sometimes do amazing things that often involve keeping a track of something or being consecutive. I think it's amazing that he continued the actual count. I hope that he's found a way to make money off this through the years. The guy is practically a human advertisement for McDonald's.
