I love that dicer! It really seems to work so easily and creates a beautiful dice. Seeing the red and yellow ones together, and it being April and thinking about my garden…that just made me think of what a beautiful (and healthy!) salad for a gathering (or…you have a big family!) with the diced peppers, some cooked corn, black beans, cilantro, and toss it with a vinaigrette dressing. Seems like all of those colors together would be beautiful, and it would have a great texture and taste. I’m a banana hater…so can’t help you there, but…I wondered if they could be freeze dried into a powder (or small slices) for smoothies, or ice cream, or yogurt?

Freezing bananas, sliced, or whole is a time saver. I prefer to slice them, lay them out on a cookie sheet , freeze them, and put them in storage bags. This makes them easy to use for multiple dishes. I have type 2 and make ice cream with frozen banana slices, heavy cream, and sugar-free jello in a food processor. This makes soft serve "ice cream"(add cocoa powder) for those of us chocoholics.

@@mamabairds 14 years ago, I learned from my dr was to count carbs and not calories. 15 grams =one carb You need to know how many carbs she is allowed per meal. In my case, I was allowed 60 carbs per meal. If I knew I want a snack or dessert afterward. I either have no carbs or fewer carbs in my meal. Also do not save up all her carbs for one meal. That does not work and messes up a person's glucose level. A person gets to a point and realizes eating something is just not worth it. That's what I realized.🤣
