“Lomi made it easy” is so right. I’ve wanted to compost for over a decade, ever since I took permaculture classes, but I did not have the space or time. Within a week of hearing about Lomi, my order was in and I’ve been happily composting ever since. It fit so easily into my daily routine…instead of throwing kitchen scraps in the trash, I just toss it in the Lomi. It makes such a huge impact in reducing what I have sent to landfills. I am absolutely a huge fan of Lomi. Thanks for making this video…I will be showing it to friends and family.

I just seen you on Epic Gardening and i have to say, if it wasnt for your honesty, i wouldnt consider buying one. These things are absolutely useful. if more people in apartments grew veggies or herbs and used this thing, oh man, the world would first of all, smell better, but also be more healthy. I really cant afford that price tag, but I'm definitely going to start putting money aside for one. maybe ill get one next year. Oh i just thought of this.. if your demographic is those that live in apartments, what makes you think we could afford to spend that much money on something like this?

I would've liked to have actually seen more hard data about how the food waste system is broken rather than just another Lomi ad. And I say this as a fan and owner of the Lomi. While the lomi is great, you can't decentralise waste management 100%, unless you're planning on creating home recycling and solid waste management systems. And how can you make that affordable? It's not like Lomi is cheap. Also, the CEO makes some false relationships between government in the USA and the cost of healthcare. Healthcare is expensive in the USA because you allow it to be. Not every government run healthcare and education system is expensive, the USA is just bad at it because of their adherence to lobbying and special interest groups. You do have to fight that front too.

We need to get big money out of politics, period. More candidates are not taking $$ from lobbyists and are instead relying on small donations, which is working.

"If you make it easy people will do it..." 100% spot on, and I am one of those people. I've had my Lomi for a week, super easy to use. I have 1-1/2 acre of land, and I don't have time to build a place to compost, maintain it, etc., plus I worry about attracting animals. This is easy. I wake up and my soil is ready! and yes, it has the best smell!!

So true. People talk about wanting to do better, but few will go the extra mile, especially if it seems hard. The cost of a Lomi is high, but I think it's worth it, and I think it'll get people composting who otherwise wouldn't!

Thank you for this video! Would love if it became a series, in terms of the farm tests and the universities and everything. I love my Lomi, and I love what you guys are doing, and I am happy to be supporting it! I've already had someone ask me for some 'Lomi dirt' for her garden! I'm happy to ignore the confused...especially if they tell me it is a breadmaker. Yeah, I heard that one, too, and it had me scratching my head. I'd have showed them the dirt Lomi-bot made me in the last batch (hint: it wasn't bread), but I'm sure they'd have just come up with another critique.
