When doing this exercise with a towel it is very pain in the inner ankle area and the heel moving up the Achilles. Is that normal starting out? It has only been a week of 2 min a day trying to do them.

Hi, Sheila. It's hard to give you precise feedback since we are unable to diagnose the problem. However, you know your body best and if the pain is unbearable we would suggest you take a break. Perhaps you had a small injury before and the exercise is reaggravating the area. After taking some time off, try the exercises again for less time and gradually work your way up. We hope this helps and if pain continues, we suggest reaching out to your primary physician for more information.
