This is a question to Simon Jordan : would you ever fancy purchasing a non league football club, rather than an already established club like Sheffield Wednesday which you previously mentioned ? Look at the potential the Wrexham owners saw in that project, and the success they are having now. Stockport another good example.

World Class to me is, with the exception of George Best, a player who has done it in the World Cup. That is the first basic requirement for me. There is a top tier Maradona, Pele, Cruyff, Beckenbaur and Messi, in that order. Hey Graeme, Jaden Sancho didn’t dominate the Bundesliga when he came back. He dominated PSG in the Semi-Final of the Champions League. Everyone knows the Bundesliga isn’t nearly as strong as the Premier League. At least the Bundesliga is owned by the fans and the tickets are affordable for all. That’s why almost every match is sold out and loud. Also, I’m pretty sure the Bundesliga had a way better European campaign last season than the premier league “5 champions league spots”. If only Leverkusen didn’t party so much after the trophy celebration 2 days before the Europa final against Atalanta. I know that’s a bad excuse but Xhaka was lousy in that game and so was Grimaldo “ask them”. I’m not saying they would’ve won the final but that wasn’t what Leverkusen was last season in that game. You could probably say the same about city in the FA Cup final being played a couple days after celebrating the premier league. Back to Jaden Sancho, he could be a world class talent but he hasn’t shown the desire to want to become one other than the desperation comeback to Dortmund last season since he flopped at Man U after the massive signing a few years ago.
