There are general guidelines in our religion when it comes to footwear during Hajj. Shoes that cover the entire foot are not allowed.
Khuf that covers that ankles and feet is not allowed. The upper part of the foot and the ankle bone needs to be visible. There is ikhtilaaf and little dispute amongst the scholars about which part should be shown and which is allowed to be covered.
