Good stuff Lee. “This” batch of figures will see my Polish “Deluge” campaign set completed - Polish, Ottomans, Swedish, Muscovite, Cossack & Tatar, with camps for each. Plus the 2 armies for the Renaissance French Wars of Religion - Catholic & Huguenot. I look forward to seeing how you get on with the painting. Hopefully all these miniatures will be a nice “reward” to myself when I retire in a few months and can send more time gaming… ⚔😉

Looking great. I love the "feel of 3mm" but its too small for me. Btu, who knows - back in time, I thought that about 6mm and even about 15mm.

I do agree about the Irregular figures. For larger scales (by which I mean 6mm and above) their quality is very poor, like the figures we put up with in the 1980s. But at 2mm scale it works well - in fact I feel the "irregular" quality works well when depicting a mass of men. You often see blocks of 2mm figures produced by 3D printing which are far too precise and uniform, they just don't look real.

😂anything below 6mm is just imagination with unidentifiable pieces of debris on bases tha vaguely could reassemble anything with a little bit of convincing yourself, that's a fact. Remember when we were kids watching clouds and interpreting their shapes? Yes, that's exactly the same kind of shit.
