I was actually at this concert in Forest Hills when I was 13 years old as I won tickets to see Eurythmics from a contest I entered in the NY "Daily News." I remember Annie saying that she wanted to try something new for the audience to hear and I never forgot the chorus. When I bought the 1984 Soundtrack, I was floored to hear how different the studio version was from the live version. I love both versions, but the soundtrack version is so beautifully haunting. By the way, M+M (Martha and the Muffins) opened up for Howard Jones (he was on his first American tour) who then opened up for Eurythmics. It was my first concert and I will never forget it. Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful gem.

Wow !!! I LOVED this tour, I saw it in in Boston, and have longed for a full document to be released as the show was very visual, may costume changes and a GREAT set list !

Brilliant, way more soulful and uplifting than the recorded version (which I prefer - the whole album is no less than spectacular).

I saw them perform this in Kansas City in the fall, and it was the song that most haunted me on the long drive home. Then, in the winter, I bought the 1984 cassette in Topeka, and on the snowstorm drive home, I must have replayed the song thirty times. I didn't even discover Julia and the other wonderfulness until later.

I guess you had one of the best months in a life time. One Special Album that was, Not homogenius but had most shining ear-heart-stunning Diamonds. I Received the album as a 14 YO Gift from My Paps, along with an Atlas...
