I swear teachers have no sense of time sometimes. This was beautifully done but I don't have 45 minutes to watch the whole video then analyse it on top of science, maths, English homework and more

I'm currently starting A2 Drama just having finished AS. After watching this I am so inspired. This production is something I'd expect to see at a professional theatre and the acting is so credible and moving. I love the set design and the repetitive dialogue and the video sequences - it all provided for an incredibly emotive production which has sparked a few ideas for my devised piece. Thank you for sharing with us this brilliant piece of work showcasing the sheer talent we have to offer!

I would really like the script if possible - is this possible? I have some year 10 students who really enjoyed the performance and would like to use it, I think it would be a great thing for them to use, knowing who devised it.

How did you manage to put the videos onto the different squares? Also, did you make that backdrop? :)

It was all done by JLDJUK, he has a KZitem channel by that name, he built the screens himself, they were suspended canvas-wrapped wood frames, the projector was a 3D projector of some sort, I'm unsure of the details, hope this helps :)

Hi Liam. I'm a Drama teacher in Australia and recently discovered this video. I was blown away by both script and performance. I approached the school trying to track down the playwright only to discover it was you, the students. Well done! Phil Tong has been in touch which was also wonderful. I just wondered if you would give me permission to download this footage to show future students what can be done with Verbatim ? Regards, Gay.

I had to stop watching after I heard "for the sake of the record" and "please speak clearly" projected in my face a million times. Hillsborough is such an interesting inquest to research and later perform, as I am also doing the Hillsborough disaster for my A2 piece. I thought I would look elsewhere for some further information and theatrical techniques relating to Hillsborough, however I found this performance extremely dry, very disengaging and the use of technology was vastly overused and bled dry to the extent where neither acting nor deliverance of direct speech from the victims of Hillsborough remotely stood out to me as "outstanding". There were far too many times where the students were just staring into the audience with blank expressions whilst audio was playing or a video clip being shown. The audience may as well have watched the documentary due to the limitation of acting. Sorry guys, but I would be extremely surprised if any of the students achieved anything higher than a grade C.

@@katystrathearn4811 how does it feel to be a harsh and judgemental bitch? Someone who actually knows something about drama would be able to give both positive and negative feedback and not just fill the comment section with your negative opinions. Maybe work on yourself and your manners before you go around criticising everybody else and their skills.

"you know, you really do need a high IQ to understand most of how bad "for the record" is". But seriously, this is not only just wrong on many levels, but displays that you are probably not a likeable person since you are heavily criticising something just for the sake of it, it's fine if you didn't like it, and you can leave your quick opinion in the comments with a brief reason if you want, and you can sort it out leave constructive criticism and some advice, but this isn't either of those things, you can praise something all you like but just saying "this is really bad", and then putting all your reasoning into a tiresome list will just put the creator down and prevent them from making better things in the future, so reangle your criticism and write a paragraph which is giving your advice and not just criticising for the sake of it (although I will allow you to blindly criticise things that were made by morally bad people, so doing fat expect me to write a paragraph presenting my arguments against each of your points, and I will not give any advice)
