Great Video! Was wondering if you had any problems with it after using the rubber one. would you go back and still use the rubber one or would you get one of the other ones. Also, It looks like the dip stick tube did not go back in all the way.

The rubber one lasted until I sold it last year. It probably should be a real one but you'd definitely have to pull the whole engine and do all them. The rubber one worked in a pinch. Kind of like a plug in a tire vs. a new tire.

got a 73 f350 with a 400. passenger side rear freeze plug was leaking. removed starter and got the old freeze plug out...wasnt easy. Cannot for the life of me beat the new freeze plug in. Going to have to use a rubber one for right now. my plan is to put the plug in dry ice and heat the block up with a torch. then try and put the brass plug in. Thanks for the video!

My dad and I just did a freeze plug on his truck and the stupid dipstick was in the way too. I had to pull the pan to tap out the dipstick. Then we used a rubber plug like you but then the nut in the center was in the way for the dipstick omg it's always harder than it seems. You did great though I enjoy when people show how hard it really is. That's why they charge so much to do mechanical work. Some people think it's easy but it isn't easy at all even with the best tools because it takes alot of effort to fix stuff. Your time is the most important thing to consider. Thanks for the video it's much appreciated!!!!!

Hello ty let me introduce myself my name is Terry. Is it ok if i ask you a question i own a 1996 F150 XLT that has 5.0 302 two wheel drive. My question for you is this. Are the freeze plugs on my 302 in same locations as your bronco 302 engine in your bronco?
