Most LED headlamps use a flat beam for dip because they dazzle anyone approaching from the left, also means you can use on the continent.

have you checked the front harmonic balancer pulley? loose flywheel? dead DMF? Engine mounts too stiff?

I have, but I do have spares, Flywheel was tight, DMF may be dead and I'll find out shortly

All classic Fords need a V8 option.This is just one of the wierdest. 302 or 351 in a Granada more sensible bonus of better handling with wishbone front and IRS and easier to fit simpler Ford motor.

I'll take that as a compliment, no fun doing the same things that 50 previous people have done And I'm not sure how the Granada fits into this, I'm building a Capri

@@RoughRestos No issues with the idea.As stated they all should have had a factory V8 option. But the general consensus in the day was that even the 3.0 V6 Capri could be a handful with its McPherson strut front end and live axle rear, let alone with a big V8 under the bonnet.
