Step-by-step guide on how to remove / replace / install front grill on Ford Escape without removing the complete front bumper cover ( 2008 | 2009 | 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | XL | XLT | LIMITED | HYBRID ).
If you follow Ford factory recommendations you would have to completely remove the front bumper cover in order to remove the front grill. With a bit of effort you can remove the front grill without completely detaching the bumper.
To start first remove two 10mm screws on top of the grill. This will give you enough space to squeeze your hand behind the grill and remove two 7mm screws which are holding the grill at the bottom. Once that is done remove two 10mm metal fasteners holding the grill at the bottom. Now you just have to pop out the bottom of the grill from the bumper (you will have to push out three plastic tabs). And that's it. It shouldn't take you more than 15 minutes.
Thanks for watching and good luck.
