Keep in mind guys, not all cars have that check valve under the low pressor switch to keep free on from pouring out when you remove the switch, Many cars have to be taken to the shop to have the system evacuated before you can remove the low-pressure sensor. Research your car and make sure you have the check valve before you attempt to remove the sensor.

I'm having the exact problem with my 2011 Flex with ecoboost. What finally solved your problem?

So I attempted to check to see if you had any other videos in regards to the cooling system and radiator but seems as if this is the only video you've uploaded to your page. Were you able to figure out the problem because my 09 is doing the same exact thing and I also noticed that when I turn on the AC or the heat the system acts like it wants to turn on the fan and there's a slight drop in idle but then decides it can't turn on the fan and the idle returns and it keeps going through that cycle over and over again while the heating or cooling system is on

I had the same problem. I found out that the plug going to the really that on the fans the purge pin does not make good connection. I stuffed a piece of foil in it turned on the engine and ac fan fired up again.

I have the same problem with the same car and same color and everything. Just took it to the mechanic and they ate changing out the cooling fans today. Hopefully that will work. I live in Las Vegas and it's been an average of 105 F - 114 F. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Dark Knight Light what I learned from all of this is that both fans have to run in order for the AC to work properly. Mine had one dead and one running at full speed (Fail Safe). I ended up replacing the fans and fixed the AC. This sensor was a stepping stone to come to that analysis.

M Rothrock : thank you so much for your quick response. I'm feeling better about the situation then. They are also changing out my fans. One was working and the other one stopped. I hope this will fix the problem.

Dark Knight Light you're welcome. I garuntee the fans are your issue. The Flex, as much as we love the car has some flaws with it's heating and air conditioning. The fans and blender doors are a very common failure. But since you've indicated that the one fan was spinning and the other not. I'd say your problem is with the fans.

M Rothrock ; I also have a problem with a clicking sound when I turn on the ac to the the rear, just wondering if you have ever experienced that problem as well. Thanks.

Dark Knight Light yes. Those are your blend doors motors. VERY common failure. They're $20 on Amazon for Ford Motor Company ones. $15 for the aftermarket. There are 3 screws and a wire plug in. Fairly easy fix providing you can get under the dash without problems. Have the garage replace them while your Flex is in there. Our SE model has two. One on driver and one on passenger side.

What's up man, so i have the same car same year. First the fans wasn't turning on causing the car to over heat, and car only blowing out cold air. I changed the cooling fans as well as the thermostat. Well fans work both kick on but car still over heating causing the fans to be extra loud trying to cool it down and still only blowing out cold air. Could it be the radiator???

I've not replaced ours yet, but I believe it's below the air intake. Remove the box and hose that got to the throttle body and you 'should' see it on top of the transmission.
