Rob, its nine years old so will have small dings and scratches (as you were doing the final walk around) - don't beat yourself up over that. You and Chris have done a lovely job and given it a new lease of life and I really enjoyed this series - the hard work extracting the engine, stripping it down, the video on the engine refurb place and then putting the whole lot back together. Great work & profit well deserved!

Main dealers do not have the skills to rebuild engines like Independant specialists do. They just have technicians. Your vehicle is probably waiting for Ford to supply a new engine depending upon the damage.

This hasn't happened before and I feel a right muppet! I was watching the first 5 mins and thought that nothing was adding up and a big chunk of the work on video had been skipped, it then suddenly occurred to me that I got interrupted half way through last Monday's video and that of course happened to be the ranger video and I had completely forgotten to come back and watch the rest..!! Lol I need to give my head a wobble - great video and another project nipped in the bud 😁👍

The bumper came up really well after Chris did his magic, I was shocked rather than just surprised to see it looking so good after the paint shop did its thing. I am not familiar with the model, but with a rebuilt engine and all tidied up it is looking excellent, the price looks very fair to me. The return on time invested is great for the business.

When you look at the bumper against the wing, you can see the bumper paint is missing a tinge of Gold Pearl in the paint . A few drops of Gold Pearl into the paint mix would have brought it closer to the rest of the body paint.
