Nice vid Chris, reminded me I still have to install the gauges sitting on the shelf collecting dust. Looking forward to the pillar pod vid.

Nice video. Without known what gauge you purchased, I have had that plastic clear tubing melt in the engine bay (not in a Ranger) and would recommend just replacing entire length with the black silicon as a precaution.

Good timing with the video. Currently waiting on the paint to dry on my pillar pod for boost and EGT but should look almost factory.

I find your vids on the old PX 1 Ranger valuable, as I'm now doing more work on the car myself, instead of a mechanic. As a low-income earner, not everyone can update their car every few years. I hope you keep your PX 1 for a while yet & continue the good work cheers.

cheers!, diesel mechanics charge a fortune to work on these, hence why i started uploading videos on DIY

Mate, love the chanell, one day when i can be bothered, ill do these mods to my 2012 bt50, but as a fairly relaxed kind of chap, ill just let the orchestra play behind the dash for a bit longer, and have no smoke from the egr yet.. so... later, i did put the catch can and 2nd fuel filter in tho, then removed the catch can, just routed a combo of hoses into chassi rail, and pluged the intake. Works good. Took that stupid ring off the drive shaft too, just used a grinder to chop it, was a builder, can use tools with relative precision.

Hello. I have 2017 ford ranger. How can i install boost gauge without the use of the new intercooler pipe? Can i install it direct from the turbo?

Have you seen the obdII Bluetooth adapters that can send all the BOOST, ENGINE TEMP, TRANSMISSION TEMPS from the ecu to an app on smart phone to display digital guages?

@@abdautomotive Check out the Lufi XF, does boost and whole bunch of other stuff and about the same size as your boost gauge, however no EGT sensor on PX1 so need to do that old school with sensor and gauge. kzitem.info/news/bejne/s6yEsql3oqWXkn4

Hello sir do you know where is the drainage of the aircon? Coz my unit is leaking water on the passenger side
@lucysoutdoors

The drainage is above the gear box and drips on to gearbox ,No long hose ,and no way to add on unless the box is out.hope this helps

Under my intake manifold there's oil on the injector pump . Not enough for it to dry under the chassis. Do you think it's coming from the front cover or do u think it's the injector pump ? Thanks
