I remember when Ford introduced this style of car , Zodiac and Zephyr. They were amazing at the time and part of the period when Ford (and Vauxhall) introduced some great large cars. It's a shame those days ended some years ago and hence particularly responsible for Ford etc, producing boring styles 🥱🥱☹️☹️

I remember seeing one of these, nearly new, in a crash where one front wing was peeled back. Full of rust !! Beautiful but not made to last....

This is a beautiful car. My Dad had this model of car when we were kids, here in New Zealand they were all column change gears, they had a big advantage over the Holdens with 4 speeds rather than 3 in the Holdens. It was probably our favourite family car.

This car reminds me of being young in the 70s, my uncle steven had one in goodwood green and green interior, this red one could be a really lovely car the body needs a quality repaint and a new interior its too nice not too , can't be too many good ones left.

Little crack you can’t see? Same engine as my Cousins MK2 Zodiac which had a column change and a slightly tweaked engine.

This car is very rare because it is one of the very few with a Floor Change Gearbox and you had to lift a collar to select reverse. My father had one new in 1963. I am fairly sure that that red was never an option from new and I don't think it suits the car.

Was just wondering about the floor shift Also noted the original exhaust manifold Once was told many years ago if the exhaust manifold was upgraded to a free flow type that would equal about 10 percent more power. Never knew if this was correct, but it sounded good.
