I have a question about the motor with the built in dial control. I know you can’t use a speed control foot pedal in conjunction with this motor but can i use a deadman style on/off pedal just to start and stop the device?

If you're shopping for a new machine and are debating the pedal options, do yourself a favor and opt for the metal pedal. The plastic pedal is very good, but the metal is better: easier to dial-in and maintain a desired speed, less stress on the foot, the pedal remains in position on a hardwood floor, and it just plain ol' feels better to use.

Could you daisy chain the desk and foot controllers on a SR motor? i.e. have a desktop controller set the power to 1/3 for the H15 hammer, connect that to the foot pedal to give fine control over the hammer within this limited range and then out to the motor?

@@davidhaney1394 What would be the problem? Melissa Muir demonstrates this on her video on the hammer handpiece at kzitem.info/news/bejne/rYNv26p-pot8kqg

So where is 5000 rpm indicated on the desktop controller?

I suspect they're not marked because different motors can be controlled with the same controller and they each have different maximums.. One goes 5000rpm, another 15000 and the third is 18000. Halfway would then be 3 different rates.
