They ARE NOT in RRHOF because Mick Jones fell out years ago with the people that were involved with the RRHOF. @@michaelbuckley8542 Lou had a brain tumor , had surgery (in 1997)and had to take a lot of medications (12 different things in fact) afterwards for years, the doctor's had finally cut back on things he was taking and yes, he will not be like he was before the tumor anymore. The tumor was a birth defect a genetic issue. But the Gramm and Hansen debate is really lame and silly , a waste of time. Fact is (and you may not like this) but all Foreigners hits and their big selling albums along with sold out tours , all that took place during the Lou Gramm era of Foreigner not Hansen . Hansen is definitely a good singer but he has no hits of his own in Foreigner, no best selling album with his stamp on the band . He lives off touring and he lives off 🎵 songs actually written by Jones and Jones /Gramm songwriting team. I'm not against Hansen doing well with his own songs in Foreigner but he's been in the band 17 years. Michael where's the beef ? Hansen hasn't given anything for nobody to , uh, move on to. Plus Hansen said they were not making anymore albums, they would be recording about 3 new songs and just download them for fans or I say whatever fans they have left. I hope Mick Jones never treats Hansen as terrible and crappy as he did Gramm and Edwards, Jones is a greedy man.

Man, those vocals. THAT'S how you sing rock n roll. It's those transients. That's all strong diaphragm. Guy could really sing - that's not something you just wake up and can do. That must be developed, it's really quite like developing any other muscle, power and control. It's very evident he took the craft seriously. That sax 🎷 solo is great, too. A well played tenor sax at the right time in a tune is seriously the sexiest instrument there is. Such a great feel, also perfectly tasteful playing. Forgot to mention, this concert was evidently so loud, you can see the interlacing distortion (the horizontal banding) on the film. It's common on beat 1 of each measure, that's pretty interesting, very cool. Could also be caused by distortion ("dirty power") in the electrical system, maybe from a powerful stage light somewhere each beat 1 sending some distortion into the power rails... I'm a nerd.. I found it fascinating

I typed "Urgent foreigner live" just to check if Lou Gramm could sing just half as good as he does on the studio version. Oh man, once I was deaf and now I can hear. This voice is pure gold.

Lou is just an Incredible Natural Singer...No Vocal Lessons here...Just Pure Feeling and Class..Love It :)

Most top vocalists take lessons regularly, some even bring trainers on the road. Doesn't detract from their natural talent, and can extend the life of their voices as many have bad vocal habits that sound good but can kill their voices down the line
