Creating a Forest Castle Scene in Blender | Detailed Timelapse Breakdown

In this detailed timelapse, I take you through the entire process of creating a stunning medieval castle scene using Blender, starting from individual assets to a fully realized environment.
Step-by-Step Process:
Asset Preparation:
All the buildings are part of my original castle pack.
Scene Assembly:
Layout: I carefully positioned the individual assets to form the main structure of the castle. This included arranging the front gate, large castle walls, and various buildings.
Scaling and Proportion: Ensuring all elements were proportionate, I adjusted the scale of the towers and walls to create a cohesive and imposing structure.
Environmental Detailing:
Terrain Creation: Free TurboSquid assets
Foliage and Trees: I populated the mountain with free-to-use tree and foliage assets, using particle systems to distribute them realistically across the terrain.
Lighting Setup:
Soft Cool Lighting: To create a moody and atmospheric scene, I set up soft, cool lighting. This involved placing Spotlights adjusting their intensity and color to achieve the desired effect.
Highlighting Details: The lighting was strategically positioned to highlight the metalwork roofs and pillars, adding a touch of mystique and emphasizing the architectural details.
Sky and Atmosphere:
Image Plane Sky: I used an image plane to create the overcast sky, which provided realistic lighting and reflections. The sky contributed to the overall mood of the scene.
Post-Processing: All done in Photoshop.
