We're getting there pal! June 6th I think for the first Dolly Sods Video. I'm still waiting for your Falls Trail Video by the way...

That is really unfortunate about the fires and your plans falling apart. I stayed in one of those cabins at Lost River a few years back. I recall it being a fairly rustic cabin by state park standards. The view from the Cranny Crow overlook is truly spectacular, I would have loved to have seen the drone footage. I remember hiking up there late in the afternoon and enjoying the view so much that i couldn't pull myself away from the spot. I ended up night hiking all the way back to the cabin in the dark lol. A very memorable experience... Lost River was nice as I recall but isolated from other attractions in the region as you said, I hope you found another spot to explore.

Yeah, this area is extremely isolated. There’s positives and negatives to that. I was too depressed to keep filming on this day, plus I had no idea how epic it would be, but the drive from LR to Moorfield, where we got propane, featured some spectacular views and really showed off how remote the State Park was. I hope to make it back someday, and I hope there’s something left to see. Thanks for watching!

I’d check your propane lines for any leaks. We have the same rig and were able to run for 3 days in the winter.(30-40 degrees) To include heater and water heater.

3 days is about right then, I didn’t fill them after our first trip. It was very cold that night, 28 degrees if I remember correctly.

That's a shame about the fires and that it impacted your trip.

I feel bad for the people who live in the areas and were displaced by these fires 🔥 as for us, there’s better days ahead, and someday we’ll make it to cranny crow…
