And thank you for not standing directly in front of a swung tool. I taught that to my fire rookies. One day, right after I told them this, an axe head flew off, right where one of them had been standing.

I have not started this video just yet promise i will watch to the end and see you do another amazing peice. Alec you you are an Artist and one with so much energy and enthusiasm its contagious. Everything you do has this child like wonder and excitment of a new challenge that i have to extremely admire. Your work always speaks for itself and its always amazing to look at along with how you and your camera man shoot the episodes is simply amazing. I started watching your videos think eh just some bloke doing a thing thinking it would just kill time as i Drove my truck but the more i watched the more i enjoyed. You are an amazing blacksmith and i cant wait till you become even better and better. Thank you for sharing this journey and i hope you continue having as much fun as we see you have. One more thing. You should try your hand at a Chinese Jian Straight Sword. Like the one Saka Used in Avatar the last airbender. ;3 keep up the great work. And keep making mistakes, cause ijf you never make them you arnt learning anything.

Hey Steele, I have a solution for forging a meteorite, the way of forging it is not to kompress it until the cracks are gone, you have to make it flat, gently, an then put the ca 75mm to 1cm pieces on top of each other, you don’t need a weld if u use the traditional Chinese method of wrapping it in a towel and putting clay on it to prevent oxygen to get to it, then just hammer it down again and fold it a few times, this refines the metal till the cracks are gone, I saw this technic on a video called making a meteorite sword and the problem of breaking also appears on a fresh made steel, I hope it helps you if you still have the meteorite and I would love to see some more traditional techniques in the future, i am a great fan and I want to start making stuff like you in the future, keep up the awesome work:) (And the clay method is actually called tile stacking method, it is traditional japanese to reforge broken swords but is just fine for a meteorite, you see it on a video of the channel awe me where they made the sword of Aragon, hope it helps you)

Sooo 7.5cm to 1cm pieces or 0.75cm to 1cm pieces? or 7.5mm to 1cm pieces? Your choice of units makes your instructions a bit unclear there.
