Forged a blade from a chunk of old coil spring 3". I was skeptical that I would get any sizeable blade and handle out of that. Boy was I wrong. Cut an inch of excess off of it.

Always get tickled when I watch the game show forging and they start with 4 or 5 pounds of steel and the knife ends up to small

Love the simplicity of your process and blades. Really appreciate seeing you finish or at least partially finish these knives, even if a part 2. I am working on hammer control and the fit and finish of my handles. I see various techniques but really appreciate your skills!
