The absolutely best part of your videos is: No waffling, no music, no time lapses, just the bare footage and the sound of solid steel colliding with the workpiece! Keep up the great work Freerk! I wanna see even more ridiculous knives. What about a 14mm thick bladed bowie?

I watched this video after watching Gough create a high tech fixed blade in a NASA clean room. Don’t get me wrong it was all amazing and the knife was great looking, strong and functional. But when I saw this shop, shit everywhere, dirty, slightly disorganized, I was hooked. The sounds alone were music to my ears. The paper template, HAND drawn and making that sound when it slides along the blank. The cutting disc and sparks and tapping it on the anvil. Knife heaven. And just like in the movie “The Hunted,” where you going to find a cnc in the wilderness. Ain’t no machines at Tom Brown’s Tracking School. Both these craftsman make art, they just go about it in different ways.
