You got THAT right! We love her! ❤ What a great actress! From the comedic role as "Sarah" in "Uptown Saturday Night", to dramatic pieces such as "Cornbread, Earl, and Me", with Lawrence Fishburne as her son, "J.J.'s" older girlfriend in "Good Times", the first on-screen interracial relationship in "The Omega Man" with Charlton Heston. She even played the tough, intelligent, but fair college president in "A Different World". She acted my girl Diahann Carroll OFF the screen in the TV miniseries, "Sister! Sister!" along with Irene Cara. Awesome talent!!!

I’m a white guy raised in SoCal in the ‘60s -70s.. I remember so many of these actors! Uptown Saturday Night is a film that my wife and I both saw as young teens (separately, not together) and are both big fans of. I always wondered what happened to Rosalind Cash.. I remember seeing her in The Omega Man and being entranced by her as young teen. So many good actors here.. thanks for highlighting their careers!! Brings back the memories!

Loved Rosalind Cash . Saw her in Omega Man , junior year in prep school . Could always tell that there were a restlessness , a negatively, skewed impasse to her talent ... probably , Hollywood . She did Shakespeare; was classically trained.Saw most of her other work, as well . Always , a fan !!! MDB

Rosalind Cash was an astonishingly versatile, graceful, and, yes, beautiful, actresses of the late twentieth century. She was also a ground-breaking actress in terms of anticipating the twenty-first century acknowledgement of a multiracial, multicultural America: in numerous mainstream roles in iconic films (The Omega Man, The New Centurions, etc.) she played the romantic interest of both Black and White men in mainstream films, and always bringing a supple intellectualism, shimmering grace, independence, and galvanizing dignity to each of these pairings: truly a great American actress.

New subby here enjoying this channel. Thanks for all the research and hard work put into these videos. Much appreciated. She’s gorgeous and was a master of her craft. She could have played Angela Davis in a movie as well. I enjoy all of her movies and tv shows.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ The theatre is where serious actors and actress are created. What Stacy Keech was an actor??!! His voice is everything on American Greed.❤❤

Rosalind also appeared in a episode of Knight Rider as a beautiful but rather villainous African voodoo priestess. A lot of people slepted on this show but it had quite a few black stars like Ken Norton, Ron O'Neal, New Edition and others.

I remember her in Omega Man and General Hospital, Uptown Saturday Night with the great Sidney Poitier, Klute. and Tales from the Hood. I think the latter was her last film appearance if I’m right. She was a great actress, singer and did voice overs. Died in 1995 of cancer. R.I.P. 🙏🌹🕊️✊
