Bro, I feel you because I was once in your shoes. Divorce and a single father, alone and scared what the future has in store for me. Let me tell you something, you WILL get through this and you WILL be much stronger that you've ever imagined. Keep SEARCHING for your true happiness my friend and don't ever give up.

Keep pushing my friend. I myself was saved by hallucinogens, and had been listening to the right music at the right time. Personally, I do not have the problems a vast majority of people have, but I also have issues most do not. To health and to family. May you always know peace and happiness.

Let me say something, this song has the classic nostalgic feel. And on KZitem these days that isn't particularly hard to find. However what Forhill did here was make use of a more trance sounding arp/pluck whatever its called. It really has this driving forward momentum with the bass line and drums. Forhill also added these trance uplifting type filtering on the main pluck/arp. This gives you that classic build up feeling. You have a great lead synth but it doesn't "get in the way" like leads sometimes can. Its like you're feeling the uplift of a trance song with that vapor wave type nostalgia to bring you back down. It really just meshes so well together and everything feels so "in place". Maybe I'm looking too much into it but Forhill really did an incredible job with this song.

03.09.2020 Its fascinating how our lives can be so unstable and upredictable. Last year, two months after I wrote my other comment, I ran into some troubles and had to abandon my studies, while hoping to resume them in a month or two, but it was fruitless, so I decided to wait till the next year. But then the epidemic struck, so I traveled far far away from my city to my grandparents to, sort of, sit through it, as I had nothing to do anyway. There, on one late evening on my b-day, I was sitting outside, having a tea with the cake, reflecting on what has happened throughout almost the year, how I'm just sitting, while my school friends are almost finishing the first year of Uni, how we had lots of fun during last years of school, while feeling like I was out of this world as this routine suddenly broke for me. And I was listening to this track, And it struck me, why it's called "Searching". It's about people, searching for their place in this world, a place where they belong and can feel comfortable in and about that if this place is unreachable for now, it will be found someday...... Thanks again for this wonderful gem, Forhill !!!

Edit, as I forgot to say the important thing* I'm rather late but my study started again and for me the studying period is associated with my rediscovery of the Synth/Chillwave. And this track particularly. I used to listen to it when it came out when we had preparations for exams which were the 8th leson on monday and by the time we would finish, it was already dark. So, I was walking home in dark evenings, tired of studies, thinking about the exams we were preparing for(it was moslty physics (which was this 8th lesson), I wasn't really good at it but I had to choose it as I didn't have a choice) and about my life in general. For me this song was not relaxing, it was making me sad (but in a good way, sort of melancholic) because I was afraid of those exams and especially the physics as they would determine my future life. My emotions were really deep at those times.... I want to thank you for that Gem !!!
