Just bought these in black size 47. I typically wear size 13 US and they fit perfectly and look great. I bought the lows because I have large calves and have trouble finding boots that fit right - no problems here. I haven't tested them out yet so I can't attest to durability or water protection. I will say that they look so good that I kind of don't want to use them!

@Atomic-Moto Great review - just the info I was looking for on these. However, I saw in another one of your comments that you recommended another boot "if you're using them for ADV or any dirt". I really liked the idea of using these for a future trip from California to Panama (60/40 to 50/50 with the possibility of some gnarly trails) on a CRF250l, but that comment has me thinking they might not offer enough protection. Am I right to assume that? I'm looking for a comfortable boot that I can keep on & walk around in all day but will offer enough protection for the occasional rough, rugged trail. Thanks in advance!

Hello KJR. My feeling is that you should have a bot with more protection, and if possible, full height. I would look at these two videos: kzitem.info/news/bejne/2p2XsoeLqoKga2k kzitem.info/news/bejne/zZx-no6uqaJigaQ

Do you think they’d be a good option for someone looking for a dual sport boot? I’d love to be able to do normal commuting stuff AND be safe out on the trail

Thanks for the comment. If you are doing very light dirt, then they would be OK. If you are doing more dirt, then a full height adventure boot, with more protection would be better. FWIW this video from us will be helpful: kzitem.info/news/bejne/zoZn32FmhGqeY5g

Great review mate. I'm about to take back for an exchange a pair of Sidi adventure gortex boots because I can't feel the gear/brake lever over and under my foot. These forma boots that have been recommended to me. So on a scale of 1-10 (1being crap and 10 being awesome) where would you put the feel of the under/over toe feedback from the levers? Tcrs✊

First...I would rate the Sidi at about a 6. The sole is thick and has little give, the top is kinda hard. You can feel this when pressing with your fingers. The Forma has 1. more give in the sole, 2. flex at the ball of the foot, and 3. is softer on top. When you press on the shifter pad you can feel it. The difference between the Forma and the Sidi is a lot in my opinion....I would put it at about an 8. It is a big difference, and sincerely I think it is what you are looking for. Hope that helps.

Atomic-Moto Cheers mate that helps a lot. I'm going tomorrow to take the Sidi boots back so I will definitely be trying the forma boots. I reckon you're right, they are going to be my best bet. I'll let you know how I get on fella. Thanks for getting back to me. I really appreciate your feedback. Tars fella ✊

Atomic-Moto Jobs a good'n fella. I got myself a pair of the Forma adventure. Your right, so much easier on the feel of the foot and so comfy. Thanks for your help mate.

Doticaster I know what you mean, I just sold my near-new Sidi Adventure because although they're a good boot, they're really more like a motocross boot, and too rigid for me...just personal preference I guess. I'm looking forward to trying these Forma when they arrive this week. I want some protection sure, but I want to be able to walk around a bit, and I certainly want to have some flexibility and feedback with gear changes

Ronan Rogers Coolio mate. You won't be disappointed at all. My Forma are so comfy and with changing gear and braking I can feel the levers no problem. Tcrs fella ✊

How would you rate or compare these to the Alpinestars Belize Drystar, which should be in the same category?
@AtomicMoto
6 жыл бұрын
Hello John. The Alpinestars Belize (www.atomic-moto.com/products/alpinestars-belize-drystar-boots) is a very good boot. It is more substantial, more protective, especially at the ankle, has a stiffer sole, but is also a good amount heavier. The Forma is lighter, more flexible, more like a regular boot, and has better warranty support from Forma USA. If you are using this as a touring or commuting boot, get the Forma. If you are using for ADV or any dirt, get the Belize. Hope that helps!!

Is this 2.25 pounds per boot or TOTAL for the pair? Christ..why are these boots still 230 to 240 bucks across soo many etailers and retailers!!?? They're 3 damn years old now. It's time they were lowed to 200 bucks even at least.

All weights on our channel are per side. AFA price, usually when they are still current and selling well the manufacturer often does not change the price (and when they do they often raise it!!).

@@AtomicMoto crap...ok. So I must make the choice to wait until Holiday sales and tough it out with my overpriced underprotecting TCX Clima Surround GTX Boots I paid 320 bucks for to Revzilla ( comfy..but not solid enough shank and not enough side protection not enough side stiffness)..... or smacking down probably 40 to 50 bucks more than the possible sales price... now (sigh). waa...first world problems eh? xD Cheers. Thanks much for your info and time.

@@motoryzen Let's start with this: what bike do you have and what type of riding? You may be better off with the more rugged Forma Terra Evo Low or Alpinestars Belize. Both are MUCH stiffer in the midsole than the Forma Adventures or TCX Climas. www.atomic-moto.com/products/forma-terra-low-boots www.atomic-moto.com/products/alpinestars-belize-drystar-boots
