Aaron I wanted to respond to your comments about recovery. And I certainly understand where you are. I’m from a family of alcoholics. Generational. When I got away and became an adult every two seconds my life was falling apart, three people who did not know each other Told me that I needed to go into recovery. Even though I did not drink, that did not mean that I did not inherit the alcoholic thinking. all three times, I got totally pissed. My family’s alcoholism had nothing to do with me - nothing. And then I came to realize as my life was falling apart because of my bad decisions perhaps those 3 different people told me the same thing and did not know each other may be on to something. You cannot survive years of abuse and dysfunctional behavior and come out unscathed. It is impossible. 47:37 I spent six years and 12 step programs and I found them extremely helpful. Am I fixed, no. But it is a process. And I try to get past my stinking thinking so that my life will be better and that I will be more comfortable in my own skin. And if those conditions exist, I don’t go off half cocked with self-destructive behavior. I hope this does not piss you off but that you give it some thought.

All of my immediate family. Unfortunately there are a few from my stepfamily, still being threatened with one thing or another if they communicate with me. My sister flew home for our first stepdad’s funeral not long ago. (Brian). The Church of Scientology in Hawaii would not let her attend his service. She had to stay in the car in a parking lot, and not be at Brian’s funeral, which was NOT held at the C of S. Not because anyone in the family had a problem with Lana being there, even the family members who were still Scientologist in good standing, were completely OK with it. Brian did the most for us in terms of being a father, when our mom was with him. He is who Lana thinks of as her dad. I didn’t fly back to Hawaii for the funeral, because I knew my presence would create issues, being I’m a declared Suppressive Person, but Lana was not.

I worked with trauma specialist doing EMDR, and today I am happy to report that I am in remission for the most part.

What an interview! I got teared up too.❤️ In 1981 Midwife Tonya Brooks delivered my daughter (3rd child) at home. She was highly experienced , professional, cautious and a wonderful alternative to doctors and hospitals. I really liked her personally as well. I haven’t heard of the problems brought up here and I’m so sorry to hear this. When something goes in a home birth (cord might be too short for example) - the medical community will attack the midwife. They want her out of business. Things go wrong in the hospital too and often it is covered up. I also went to Dr. Gene Denk and he was really helpful to me. Had a very bad experience with Dr. Victoria Samler, however.

@NatalieWebsterExSeaOrg Natalie....you are such a bright light. I would love to have my partner and you two chat. You have officially inspired me to inspire him to have his own channel once and for all. We've spoken of it for years......now is the time. His story needs to be told. We're both 2nd generation....so much to say. I appreciate your strength sis.

Natalie- thank you. I am humbled by your story of strength and resilience. What a bravely told, coherent story about your life experience with COS. Such a level head with maturity in your early years. It’s probably what helped keep you sane during this awful chapter. You’re a true survivor. Thank you for sharing.

What a fantastic guest. I'm definitely going to listen to her podcast. Sometimes others wishing for your healing is not judgment, but a desire to see you hurt less.

Still brings me to tears. Children are amazing and I think it shows that you have to train empathy out of people. They were very young.
