Olaf was living in a feral colony on Chicago's west side for many years. Neighbors knew this in tact football-headed boy. He fought with the other toms. He likely fathered many kittens. Olaf is very food motivated. So when Cats in Action's Liz Houtz set a humane trap down with smelly tuna fish bait, he charged right in.
Not only does this former fighter have a crinkled ear from years of scratching and infection, but his mouth was a mess. Olaf had severe dental disease and a painfully infected tooth, requiring multiple extractions.
Now that he is on the road to recovery, Olaf will be feeling much better.
