The ultra orthodox life is a very hard life , I am not one but i think it works for the ones who are born in that community and no one else. I am not one , im just religious and I think the religious community understands that what a blessing a good wife is and the blessings that she brings with her and therefore she gets treated with tremendous amounts of love and respect. I am happy that you left but sad that you had to suffer so much for it. Just look forward and may Hashem bless you with lots of blessings and those blessing will overshadow the hardship you had to endure.

Thank you so much! To you too! I hope as a society we no longer will find the need to shun those who decide on different paths 🙏 this is why I feel it important to share. Was needless and only harmed everyone involved. Peace and love 💕

I have deep respect for religion and tradition but unfortunately these days its basically all about control and keeping ppl uneducated so they have to really on the community this goes to almost every religion out there these days has this not saying everyone is like this but it usually those who choose close mindedness over facts and logic and science

So true so many families are broken because of fear of others beliefs! Society needs to change the approach because love is stronger than anything and all children need is 💕 Raising awareness to the problem is the first step to a more accepting world

So you made a choice and then regretted it. But, you read the contracts and signed them. No one is to blame for your choices except you. Demonizing the Ultra Orthodox because you made a poor choice is hysterically funny. Take responsibility for your choices and stop blaming others for them. BTW I’m not ultra Orthodox. I’m not even diet compliant. I’m an American Jew.

Way to not see the point- the biggest problem is the Rabbinic court has a monopoly over marriages in Israel.

What contact? Where’s the contact 😂😂🤣 who would dream that a religion would separate families? Maybe this is common knowledge to you and that’s what I would want to see change. My contact is with my uterus that carried, birthed and raised them for 15 years! Hilarious

While I feel bad for her, she did join, marry into, involved her children with and ultimately left this community. It's rabbis and leaders would have the right to decide the children should remain within. Having said that, "ultra-Orthodox" is such a wide spectrum of beliefs and practices and levels of observance, we don't know what kind of community she was part of. It is impossible to judge.

Baalei Tshuvah are not told everything. They're drawn in with a mixture of promises and guilt. They do not know what the consequences will be if they want to leave. They should never have married her so young, but that's what they do to rope young people in.

People change and shouldn't have to lose their children because of this...its not good for the children either. You are raised that way and married off very young...it takes a while to even figure out you don't belong there. Judging her is very harsh. It doesn't work for many of them but they are in the closet...which is not a life...

Why do you think so? I’m the parent, I didn’t sign my life to them. Within my 16 years there I changed rabies and communities 4 times, nobody forced me. It’s just when you fall into rabbinical court forget it, they suddenly have jurisdiction over my life and an agenda to keep their following aka their money and power…

Food for thought. The community didn't force her to join, she joined. You go into a community you don't understand and then leave and complain about their rules. Terms and conditions. She even signed it and now wants to use the weak, female, toxic masculinity tangent to win hearts. Note, she can leave with her head. Unlike some other communities.

Sharia laws beats women in public with a stick in front many people and they also behead women if there punishment fits annd they don’t let women go to school except religious school if then. Islam in the sense of sharia law, in many cases takes rights away from women they don’t have jobs they can’t buy food in a market or any store. Many countries have changed and became moderate but the hardcore version is the one I speak of. Did i mention having more then one wife because something was initially wrong with her, wow what a insulting translation which can mean literally anything. I’m a man but women are just women. And you shouldn’t take her freedoms it should 100% be her free will and not under the fear of death or discrimination.
