Insane amount of time and money put into it. Constant issues, barely any driving time on it, practically nothing at full blast. Car is also pretty much undriveable: unbearable noise, very very harsh ride, constant jerking at cruising RPMs, and these are only the things even us viewers can see. Aside from a Stockholm syndrome type attachment to it I don't think he'll miss the stress at all in the long term. It is a very unique car and it sounds insane, but I would never ever own it.

I grew up a Honda fanatic. Drove an S2000 for the first time back in 2002, and promptly decided then and there that it was my dream car - but I was young and broke. I worked my way up & got better jobs, saving along the way. Finally, in 2008 I bought my perfect example. It was white with the red/black interior. I modified that car in a way that felt perfect to me over the next 13 years, slowly but surely (although nowhere near as modified as David's car). In January, I sold the car. It was time. All that to say, I felt this video. Thank you for sharing all the progress over the years. It's been a joy to watch it all come together, and you can feel the passion come through every video.
