My inlaws house was destroyed by a storm, it was one of the most difficult times in our lives. The process was long, the work hard. If I can give any advise, keep it light and see the light at the end of the tunnel. More so let your parents control the choices and how they want it all done as in the end it is their house! God Bless.

I truly feel your pain. I am on the east coast in Vero Beach. We were hit by Francis and Jeanne in 2004. I didn't even know I had PTSD from that until we went to the pan handle after Michael hit. Watching what happened to Fort Myers brings it all up again. I'll be visiting there this weekend doing a BBQ relief effort. It will be rebuilt and it will take time. One thing Florida is good at is rallying together after a storm. Thank you for posting this.
