I've used of Star Bond to stabilize non mineralized fossils to allow removal & handling by buyers (slabbing & polishing woods). Frothy pine cones in ash can be touched & removed instead of crumbling and blowing away. It glues the dirt & pine needles together onto specimens too. I have yet to see crazing or yellowing when it is used as a fracture sealer. (I've been using it since I met the owner of Hi Desert Crafts Don Dietrich where he figured out "if it will hold the tiles on the space shuttles, it will hold a rock together & works good on Virgin Valley Opalized wood to allow it to be worked and worn.)

minimize Uv exposure (indoors display case etc.) and it will still be functional after we get to the nearest star.

I found a large Coquina Fossil cluster while rock hounding in Orting Washington. Have you ever seen a coquina fossil? Any idea how it was found in Washington state?
