Starting high above Vancouver Canada, we fly West across the Pacific to Vietnam, the home of last week's "Future Yacht" and Seawind Catamaran's
From here we continue West acround the globe to the Fountaine Pajot yards on the West Coast of France.
For this weeks wine pairing, we head South down the coast to Domaines Barons De Rothschild and their Legende Medoc Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2017.
The Lafite Rothschild family has been producing wine in Bordeaux since 1868. For six generations, they got to know this beautiful landscape and understand the unique traits of the vines from each appellation. Three decades ago, the family was inspired to create a new wine series, where each wine would be the epitome of the appellation it came from.
Their motivation was simple - to ensure wine lovers everywhere could dive into Bordeaux and taste the originality of each appellation.
And so, Les Légendes R range was born.
The wines in the Collection are made under the supervision of oenologist, Diane Flamand, with the same care and attention to detail as is applied to the Grands Vins.
The Pauillac and Médoc wines are produced from DBR (Lafite)'s own vineyards and from neighbouring vineyards. For the Bordeaux appellations, the technical team selects the terroirs and supervises the vinification of the grapes from partner suppliers.
The rich patchwork of châteaux in the Médoc produces ruby-coloured, well-rounded wines that are a fine accompaniment to many dishes. The Collection's Médoc benefits from the same care as a Grand Vin: rigorous selection, extreme precision in the winery, with meticulous specifications, reduced yields, impeccable ripeness and purity of fruit, and traditional maturing.
The star of the Médoc, Cabernet Sauvignon is given excellent expression and can be appreciated for its natural characteristics by lovers of Bordeaux's wines.
Nice deep ruby red color. Expressive, complex nose, offering a pleasant aromatic diversity, combining scents of leather and ripe fruit with subtle oaky notes. Elegant and well-balanced on the palate, with silky tannins offering a long spicy finish.
Blend: 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot

• Robotic hull cleaning:
KeelCrab: keelcrab.com/en/the-keelcrab/
• Quick cleaning: Keelcrab cleans 2 m² per minute
• IP68 camera and LED: HD camera and powerful LEDs allow you to monitor the hull and check the condition
• Fast replacement of brushes: Brushes with different abrasive capacity to suit any cleaning need
THE KEELCRAB is the first of the new generation of underwater drones to perform Robotic hull cleaning and inspection activities. Characterized by a plastic exoskeleton with neutral hydrostatic buoyancy, it is maintained in perfect adherence to the hull thanks to a major suction effect generated by a powerful marinized pump motor, removing and sucking up algae or vegetation that typically builds up on boats during periods of standing in closed waters.
The movement of the drone is provided by natural rubber or P.V.A. brushes driven by tracks that allow easy maneuvering in all directions, over any surface and making the drone adept at overcoming obstacles. A high-resolution underwater camera allows the drone to be operated by wired remote control with a video stream display on a 7-inch display, tablet or phone.
In terms of cleaning capability, the drone is equipped with nylon inset counter-rotating center brushes (with variable length and diameter) that are easily interchangeable according to the needs of abrasion. These A.N.C.C.P. certified brushes do not remove antifouling paints but rather extend their effect over time.
