Stayed up after my bedtime to watch Conan because he was my favorite. This is the first time I saw them and I made my mother take me to buy their record the next day. I was 12. May Adam’s work and memory be a blessing to everybody that loved him.

I was able to catch every of his Thursday and Friday shows from 1996-1999 and cherish those nights so very much. Never saw a single episode of Late Night that I didn't love

Amen, brother! FOW's drummer also played in The Posies, another Power Pop favorite...speaking of favorites, Fountains of Wayne's second album, UTOPIA PARKWAY, is one of my favorite albums of the 90's. What a cool band they were!

What a great band. Adam Schlesinger is such a tragic loss. I really feel for his family and friends and also Fountains of Wayne fans. He was an incredible talent. In fact Adam was a musical genius.

FortWarren ehhh I beg to differ but you have the right to your opinion. I think the late 90s early 2000s still had something some wheels left in the pop department. And if idk if I’d even consider FOW full fledged pop. They’re more like Alternative, Power, Geek Rock.
