You can do it! Lol I think having a brush with a finer point helps with those delicate branches at the top. You can also use a find detail brush to bring some finer twigs and branches after laying down a tree that is heavier with paint. Thank you for watching and leaving me a comment.

You make it looks so easy, but I can't repeat this, because I can't understand how wet the brush is. And my strokes are disaster. Or maybe also using a wrong brush

I have more details in my full video here: kzitem.info/news/bejne/tp5pyHaFaqNplo4si=8SAsuA-KjuuHF28I And as an added tip, to make the trees lighter and more smooth I use more of a tea-like consistency, and for more of a dryer tree, I use a dry brush, or more butter-like consistency. If you haven’t checked out Jenna Raineys tea to butter video on paint to water ratio, I highly recommend it. But in this long form video you can see my paint mixture is more like tea, and then I’ll add more paint to make it thicker and dryer. Hope that helps. I’ll share a future video on the process for one tree (showing the water too).

Thank you for your comments and sharing a little bit about your history with me. And I'm sorry you weren't able to learn from her, but I hope you have some of her paintings? What subjects did she paint? I have a tree tutorial on how I get different styles of evergreens (all quite similar, but slightly different) :kzitem.info/news/bejne/tp5pyHaFaqNplo4si=-GlLei8lqVy_EoCd And here's a link to a video I did showing you one way to paint grass (and other subjects): kzitem.info/news/bejne/raqnyJudfHmqgYIsi=G0zgIQQJkbcFXqGo I'm not sure if it's quite what you're looking for, but I can certainly add that to my list of videos to do. Lindy! You'll get there! The key is to keep practicing and experimenting with your brushes and water to paint ratio. I think it's also important to let go, too. I hate to say it, but maybe take a break from looking at these trees, and take time to study your own, then come back to these. I know in the past when I've loved someone else's art that I can get too absorbed in their style, that I forget my own.
