my youngest brother born in 63 was dressed by paddy market. and we have lovely photo of him with white sandals an socks white shorts and a lovely red jumper.. it was part of Glasgow. and if you were lonely a wee trip down here did you a world of good listening to all the patter and most important a wee cup of tea.xx

My late Mum was the same. I have photos of Mum & my Aunt impeccably dressed & my Granny had bought both outfits here, took them home, washed them & pressed them. Mum was never too proud to admit it, in fact was proud of her heritage.

My sister and myself used to go down to buy our music tapes when we were teenagers lol. Never got any hassle from the stall holders but I think their downfall was the hostel behind it, bringing all sorts of trouble. Drugs junkies fighting. It wasn’t a nice atmosphere. It’s a shame Paddy’s had to go because of the other people’s antics. That was people’s living and social life.

This video clip is fantastic , well done to the Art school . To think councillor Matheson has so selfishly exercised his power ..... Vote him out at the next chance ......... And the rest of you, shame on you ...... Look what happened in the Westminister Glasgow East By -election ...... Don't ever think that arrogant decisions against the voting population will go unmissed ... Smugness and arrogance will get you voted out ..
