Maybe my opinion is unpopular, but I don’t like Carrie. She played with Charles’ emotions. Maybe she loved him too, but if so why did she marry Angus or Haggus or whatever that dude’s name was? And then she decided to come to Charles’ wedding to tell him that she was separated. Couldn’t have told him before that day? And was she just hoping that he had held onto his feelings for her? What a mind game! Oh well. It looks like it ended happily ever after. But if it were real life, I’d tell someone to forget all about carrie.

m reaction was simpler: Im an American. Angie McDowell acted her way from A to B. The cast was delightful, the dialogue sprkkling. the esae of the British upper class to envelop awkward moments like the vicar (Rowan Atkinson) well displyed.

I totally agree with you. And she confess to Charlie that she have slept with 33 men, including her boyfriend’s father. I mean, come on! Did he really considered take her serious after she tells him that? And the worst is that she actually married her fiancé, who she cheated on, by the way, witch means that she made her choice and that choice wasn’t Charlie. She knew that he loved her, and she still married the other guy.

I hate how films and tv always promote domestic violence against men as trivial or comical- it isn't. Abuse is abuse regardless of who does it, imagine the outrage if he'd punched her there.
@OlgaRykov
3 жыл бұрын
People ARE outraged at her hitting him, that's why they're holding her back after the initial slap. Also... are you comparing a woman's slap to a man's punch? Last time a saw a man on man fight I didn't see a slap because it isn't exactly a high impact fighting move. Women get beaten up every day at home and no one moves a pinky about it for decades. Like I get it, no type of abuse done by anyone to anyone is acceptable. But why is it you whiny dudes that want to play the victim when in the end, generally speaking you aren't? What is it with you, dudes? You're like soccer players who play up the drama around your precious selves.
