Absolutely beautiful! You can paint a layer of Glossy Mod Podge over the diamonds to seal the work and help keep them from popping off. Make sure it's the GLOSSY Mod Podge! (not the matte.) It will go on milky looking but it dries perfectly clear and the diamonds are shiny. You don't have to do that of course, but it's just a nice precaution.

I've done a few & they can be maddening sometimes yet they're also oddly relaxing. It's like the old paint by numbers sets we had as kids, it's being artistic without having to turn your brain on & be super creative. If you're going to not use the plastic cover in the frames you can cover the whole painting with Mod Podge to keep the little bits in place. It's not a bad idea to do that any way, but do it especially if you're going to have them somewhere where folks will be able to touch it.

I’ve never understood the appeal of diamond paintings but... different strokes for different folks. You might want to consider putting the finished pieces into some kind of pressure device (like a Franklin Printing Press) to positively secure the diamonds to the canvas and prevent them from popping off. Kudos to you, sir, on your perseverance.
