Just read on google, the two ladies on the left are twins who were given up for adoption. The two on the right came a couple years later and their mother kept them, the 2 ladies in the middle became co workers and kept being told they look alike. Family members took DNA tests and it was revealed they were all sisters

I was given up for adoption as a newborn and was adopted at 3 months old by an amazing set of parents ! They always told my older brother who was also adopted the truth when we were young. 26 years ago I got the courage to ask if they had an information about my biological family. Within 2 days I had my grandfather's name and a week later I was talking to my birth father. 2 weeks later I was invited to visit my aunt, little do I know I was meeting the majority of my family. I had 2 older brothers and 2 younger half sisters. It was a very emotional day for sure my birth parents and a brother have passed away. One of my sisters is one of my best friends and we talk all of the time. She lives 2 hours away so we don't get to see each other ad often as we would like both that just makes the times we are together that much more special! The search was definitely worth it for sure!

I was born in 1970 and have known from a young age that the wonderful man I called my father wasn’t my father. When my mother finally gave me my biological father’s name it was in the early 1990’s and because she didn’t know where he was I had no way of finding him. I worried for years that his wife didn’t know he had had an affair and I would end up upsetting her and any siblings I might have. I’m so glad I found out who he was and my story has a sweet ending. My siblings have told me that their mother knew of his affairs and so there could be more half siblings. Sadly, one of my six sisters passed away last year so I won’t get to meet her but my sisters and my brother seem to be welcoming and we cannot wait to meet each other.

After testing with both AncestryDNA and 23andme, I discovered I have 10 brothers and sisters scattered from Seattle to Maine and down to South Texas where my oldest sister and a younger brother and I live. And one of my sisters is a full sister. She a I don’t have any clue who our biological father is even though we’ve had 2 separate DNA tests.

I just posted a comment about finding my birth mother and sisters and brother. It’s been wonderful. I know I’m lucky. A friend of mind found her birth parents and they were awful. All they wanted from her was money. I wish I could tell you it’s been wonderful on my birth father’s side. He died a long time ago. He had one son my half brother and he wants nothing to do with me. He thinks I don’t have my facts straight and my mother was lying when she told me who my father was. I didn’t fight with him but let him know I was always here if he wanted to talk. I reminded him we did have the same DNA which counted for something. I tell you this story to let you see it can go either way. I know people give these DNA kits as gifts at Christmas and birthdays but be careful it may not turn out like you want.

My niece and her husband received kits for Christmas. They decided not to take the test because they have relatives who originated from the same small town. They are afraid they might be cousins. We just laughed at them.

Why didn't their mother fess up to her daughters once they were grown and tell them they had two other sisters? It would have been lovely if her daughters she put up for adoption could have met their birth mother before she passed. I could feel the wistfulness of the adopted women when their mom was brought up.

I know. If I were her I would have had to tell them before I passed if not sooner. But I'm sure she had many reasons she did not. So glad it worked out for them all. Imagine the seriousness of it when the actually sat down and said hey we may really be sisters, we should take a test. Crazy.

I lost track of everything as soon as they started going on about someone's wedding and second wedding and.... But it doesn't matter what I don't understand; it's wonderful for all of them to have found each other, and that they're all happy and excited to be together as a family.

I'm happy for them. We found relatives with more in common than we can imagine (even same religion) during the pandemic, which was a lifesaver for me. I enjoyed their story, but I wish they wouldn't have interrupted each other and the host. I wasn't really able to grasp everything hat was said. So common in these short segments that don't dedicate enough time to these interviews. Why the rush?

I don't really see all that strong of a resemblance but I love that they have a relationship and seem very happy together. I actually have some siblings that I've never met, to my knowledge, and would love to meet them, just because. I also do not have any memory of my birth father, Lloyd Hill, so if you are one of his children or grandchildren, leave a comment. I search all the time.

There were so many holes in this story!! I was curious, so watched the official GMA video...it had a tiny bit more info but 3rd time was the charm. An Infobot vid told the FULL story. Kinda sad when the professional networks blow it, and a KZitemr nails it!!!

wonderful that these 4 sister found each other. However, the interviewer did not do a good job of the backstory and tying the 4 sisters stories together. It was like he was winging it and had not bothered to get the facts and details and put together information that would help us connect to the stories of the 4 sisters .

I started having people call me another first name when I was in my early teens. I just figured that everyone has a look a like. My only sister passed away when I was 23. When I was in my early 30's, I went on a quest to find out who this other girl was that looked like me. It turns out that she is a half sister from an affair that my dad had while married to my mother. We're 6 months apart. Sadly she didn't want anything to do with me. We're both 60 now and I wish that things could've turned out different, but I understand it from her point of view. I still feel a very deep bond towards her and sometimes I feel like reaching out again, but I'm afraid of further rejection. I'm glad that things worked out for these sisters. May they have many year of happiness together. ❤
