Taken from the National Trust website, we follow the route of the Fowey Hall Walk, renowned for its views of the Fowey River. After a misty start, we soon had the most beautiful spring day.
Pont is an isolated hamlet, formerly a busy quay transporting coal gran and manure! The walk follows Pont Pill Creek to Polruan and offers more tantalizing views of Fowey and, upon reaching Polruan, we walk out to explore the castle.
It's a 4 mile circular walk, renowned as possibly the finest walk in Cornwall which also includes two ferry rides.
