Excellent looking coastline to fly up and down... even though just watching flying over open water breaks me out in a cold sweat :)

Yeah like sramctc said: It was like coming along on a nice camping trip with you and your family. And again beautifull footage of nice looking nature. It is also like CurryKitten says: You must have a lot of trust in your plane as it scares me everytime when "we" fly over water :). Thankyou for this video.

I was trying a new ignition system, which failed to ignite them. That's why you see the electrical leads dangling behind the rockets :( LOL.

You familiar with the Dunes national park? From Winchester Bay to Florence, long stretch of a spanning dune sea. In Winchester Bay every year they hold dunefest where all the off-road buffs go nuts, this year it's supposed to be late july/ early august, that'd be awesome to catch FPV

No kidding! I actually kicked myself after spending $4.95 on a small bundle of firewood we bought at the local store before seeing the vast piles of dry driftwood there for the taking!

Another great video. Does anyone else in your family fly FPV? When do you plan another flight? I enjoy the takeoff/ landings long flights. How many feet before takeoff now with all that weight? Minus the payloads.

Probably 50ft takeoff run. Less if I was really trying. I ease the throttle forward nice and slow to prevent ground loops. She is a tail-dragger, after all...

glassdogangle I'll keep your tip in mind on the ease throttle. I didnt think of that. I'm building my skywalker. I'll keep that in mind when I take off for the first time. I'm keeping it as light as I can.
