Fractal Design. As a pc builder thats built alots of pcs for my friends and a few clientd here and there, this brand has been my favorite to build a pc in. Not many Fractal Design cases with kooky design choices or horrible airflow. Simple and built for efficiency imo

Yeah. Fractal always give me surprise with very smart designing. Example...Define 7/6 , Torrent, Era ITX.

@@kuroto_mono Heyy! if you add 'English subtitle' on your video I bet people will love to watch your videos. Cause in India anime culture is very popular and how we watch is. Japanese language but Subtitles in English 😄 rest best of luck. Will love to see when you reach 5k U_U
I don't understand how these youtube reviewers are praising the FD torrent line of cases, aside from the large front fan, it's terribly designed. The bottom fans are practically touching the GPU fans. There are no top exhaust fans at all, and the case has so many plastic pieces. And finally, the prices they charge is insane.
@kuroto_mono
2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for commenting!!! A cause of GPU touching with bottom fan is gpu's distortion by self weight. So, we can solve the problem to use gpu-stay. Certainly , Top fans are rationally from thermodynamic perspective. In the case of exhaust heat fan is only rear, temperature inside rise by not exhaust enough . However, When using side-flow CPU cooler, top fans break ideal airflow(side-airflow) and causing negative pressure inside the case and inhale in dust. Torrent's big fan and breathable body anser this dilemma. It is true, torrent series' value are absolutely expencive , but its relative value cannot be guessed because there are no inherently competing cases in these.

@@kuroto_mono Really appreciate you spending the time to respond to my critique. 👍🏼
Hey Miss, Would you mind letting me know where the store sell the black small ramp lightning the center cpu cooling fan? or how to search it on google?
Why GPU so low and no separate fans for a GPU/CPU in front? Those are horrible temps. I usually want around 70*C on RTX 3080 Ti and 60-75*C on a Ryzen 5900-5950x with AIO. Noctua is also capable of such temps in a good case. The GPU does not like under-fans blowing air with a too much pressure directly inside of the GPU fans. It's counter-effective. Fans underneath are good if they are like 10-20cm below a GPU, then it sucks down air from them and the hot air circulation flows it up through the GPU. However, GPUs are happy when they get air frontally as well so the whole heatsink of a GPU spreads into two areas getting air from separate directions - vRAM & Chip - like in current configurations of 3fans GPUs are designed in the first place. It works better even if air comes through the AIO in front. I've tested all AIO up, in-front and to the cables side of the case (there're such configurations with 3 mounting areas for AIO). The best balance is with AIO in front or up, depends on a case. If I use passive CPU cooler - going with Noctua is great indeed but then - 3 separate fans in front are always better than one 240/250/280 fan like here since they separate the air-flow for GPU and CPU. I understand what Fractal wanted to do here - it just does not make sense as your video proves itself :-P Fractal cases are generally good, this one is sadly horrible. Meshify has been reigning supreme among the current generation builds for years already. When we want a small-factor, it's better going with Lian-Li and others though. It's really never a good idea blowing air into the GPU's fans directly. LinusTT has already tested how air behaves using smoke in such configurations - when too high-pressure air re-circulates heating up again and again after bumping off the GPU because of a too high pressure/case fans too close to the GPU.

you might wanna swap the ram kit, 3200mhz is good and all but the cl22 latency is gonna hold back performance since ryzen cpu needs fast and low latency ram.
@kuroto_mono
2 жыл бұрын
No. It's ture, JEDEC DDR4-3200 CL22 is not fast, but I have to choice "overclock memory" for more low latency. In the case, performance improve up to 10-20%, but depress system stability slightly. Which is better depends on the case. In my case , the pc is used for video editing so system stability is more important than overclock performance.
hello, tell me where you found this unique lamp in the case?
