A cartoon for all ages, however, they were written by adults thus when I watch them now at the ripe old age of 70, they still crack me up as much as when I was a kid.

Fractured Fairy Tales often end in a pun, but in this one it happens backwards, with the play on words being given near the beginning and the event to which it refers only happening at the end. The father sends his son off to "make a name for himself", and the son winds up literally doing just that. I didn't even realize that until I looked at the description again after watching the video. It's a lot more subtle than the usual punchline.

The kids just liked the funny voices and amusing characters, the story lines were strictly for the ADULTS. Sort of like South Park, which NO chilld should EVER be allowed to watch. The folks who wrote this stuff, back than were having a blast, making fun of the audience. How clever was that? Not like the brainless animated JUNK, that they show these days. And don't even get me started on the unintelligible crap that comes from the orient.
