Sean, when I catch a glimpse of the exterior of the cottage with those massive stones, I am so happy you have dropped the idea of painting the exterior. It looks so beautiful especially after you cleaned the stones. Wow you got so much done on the cottage today. It’s really looking like a place where someone will call home. Thank you for another good video. xx

When working with grandpa he would mark a line and you had to cut it. The tricky part you had to ask him if you had to cut on the line,or to the left or right of the line, as it did make a difference as to how he measured it. With all the new timber the building should stand another 500 years.

Now the two metal things she purchased will you send them or scrape them and then re-paint or leave them the way they are? I’m not in the antiques so I don’t know what people do to much with them? They are really cool but I’ve only seen them on TV or when I visited Plymouth Rock on the east coast of the US.
