Day's career began when she was spotted dancing at Texas Guinans speak in New York. Then off to London and became a rising blonde nightclub cabaret singer. She toured the provinces in 1930 and made her London stage debut at the Hippodrome in 1932 in "Out of the Bottle". Same year she appeared in this rare short with the Savoy Hotel Orpheans. This is an audio restoration project. The sound of the 16mm film has deteriorated with word dropouts in the vocal.and uneven balance. I digitally restored it to improve its fidelity. Enjoy.
