@rovingdesertfox Thanks for your comment. After listening to Francis again and reviewing my comment of a year ago, I see that it was unclear. I do agree with you and Francis that being attached to results gets us further from our source, ALSO that the felt desire to want to change a situation is analogous to a bird singing--if we can sing our song, then 'let go and let God'. Desire makes the world go 'round, attachment and fanaticism destroy it. The devil's mouth. Addendum follows--

@rovingdesertfox Although we experience wanting to change a situation, in hindsight we can see that the situation simply unfolded as it had to. For example, I want to eat when I'm hungry, and changing hunger to satiety is just a normal life process, certainly not the devil's mouth. So, in the moment we can experience 'change', in hindsight see there is no such thing. More clear?
