I brought home over 100 plumeria seeds from Puerto Vallarta MX a couple of years ago and just recently planted them all out. So far I have around 35 little seedlings that have sprouted.

Hi Eric. Thank you for educational video. Questions? Where can I get plumeria’s seed that’s not too expensive? I understand that some varieties are hard to get and it’ll cost more. Please advise. Thank you Sy

Hey Eric, great video. I'm also doing the paper towel method as well as floating method. I know you said that you don't place them in direct sunlight, but I'm doing a winter grow inside of a grow tent and they will be directly under the lamps. What's your take on this? Btw, the lamps are on at 60% and approximately 24-30 inches above, which is the recommended height for seeds and seedlings. Thank in advance.

@@trinityexoticsnursery3524 Eric, what do you think about the immediate light on them in the grow tent? Should I be careful for the first few days and maybe cover them while they're inside the tent and on top of the heating pad or do you think I'm safe with immediate light? Thanks again.

@@guygarfield5257 the heat mat should be good enough. It will make humidity and that's whst eill sprout them. I wouldn't keep continuous light on them

I like to germinate in pure Perlite.

Please outline how you do this. I root cuttings in straight perlite n works great

@@trinityexoticsnursery3524 I re purpose a little deli container(black plastic bottom, clear top) add enough bottled water to cover the bottom and then some. Add about 1/2" of Perlite. Then add seeds like you are planting in soil. You can pre soak seeds before or once you "plant them in Perlite" spray them down to moisten. Cover then I place on heating mat. I take lid and check about every 3 or so days. Once they germinate you can just pull them up and plant. I know you like to shuck them, now's perfect because the husk is moist and the leaves are splitting it anyway.
