@@geeebuttersnap2433Tbf, Jane fans have a point, and a combo of both in one actor/performance would be awesome. Bernthal captured the rage and the unhinged nature, the humanity he has buried deep under a surface of pain, as well as the training, Jane captured the hatred and cold steely determination. One issue with Bernthal's Punisher (as far as how he was written), is he is constantly full 100% adrenaline and bloodlust in a fight, but it'd be nice to see that a bit less often, only when he is personally pissed off or purely sickened, and as far as taking out random thugs, you just see his eyes go dead and him moving in silence, turning almost robotic and disturbingly stoic once he gets to work. That way, you see how used he is to going into battle, how he has seperate modes, and it would make him screaming while wielding a machine gun or screaming in a fist fight, feel less like a standard beat down, to more like "Oh damn, sh!t just got real, he isn't just gonna put them down, he's gonna beat them down to wet chunks.
