I can’t get over how easily he slides into the song immediately after joking and laughing and giving instructions. He’s able to just flip a switch into singing mode.

I love hearing the outtakes, and the process behind perfecting it. So different now when everything’s recorded separately and overlaid, it really isn’t the same as recording it live, alongside the orchestra.

An underrated album for some reason, but containing some of his best recordings, particularly 'You Go To My Head'. This was the first Sinatra album I bought, way back in the early 70s, I've been hooked ever since.
