Back in the 70's, we hung out with this 'garage band' that played a lot of Zappa. Straight out of Joe's Garage. Best parties ever. The 70's were THE BEST years to catch great live music. I feel very lucky to have been a teenager back then. All the girls were into Rock and Roll and not crap...I mean rap back then. Unlike this $1000 a ticket bullshit, back then, you can walk right up to the local War Memorial or Collesium (no corporate names) and buy tickets right at the box office for $7.50, $9.50 ect. One night, we went to the college to catch this 'new band" that just came out with their first albulm. Walked right up to the stage and saw this amazing guitar player named Eddie Van Halen...

Zappa rules! Very intelligent man. Alot of people don't understand his music was very sarcastic, a lot of the time in his later years pointing out the ridiculous aspects of our society in his music. He contemplated a run for POTUS right before he was diagnosed with cancer. I would have voted for him.
